Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Saturday, Jan. 8, 1944

Mrs. Mary Woods, 75, a former North Plains township resident, died Friday 
morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O.J. Duncan, at Sault Ste. Marie. She 
continued to make her home in North Plains after the death of her husband, W. 
Woods, but had lived with her daughter for several years.

She is survived by five children, Mrs. O.J. Duncan, Mrs. Emery Gracelle, Earl 
Worthy and Harold Worthy, all of Sault Ste. Marie, and Mrs. Fara Yoder, of 
Indiana; a brother, George Dick of Lyons and several  nieces, nephews and 
cousins at Muir.

Mr. and Mrs. Fara Yoder, of Indiana, and Mr. and Mrs. George Dick, of Lyons, 
left Friday evening for Sault Ste. Marie, to attend the funeral services.
