The Ionia Standard, Friday, May 17, 1889


The remains of Mrs. Julia A. Woodward were taken to Bellevue, Ohio, on Friday 
afternoon last for interment, and were placed beside those of her husband.  Her 
parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Bailey, accompanied the remains.  Brief funeral 
services were held at her late home, conducted by Rev. J. S. Large of St. 
John’s Episcopal church, who was assisted by Revs. A. M. Gould and W. H. 
Scott.  Mrs. Woodward’s early death is mourned by many friends.  Three 
beautiful small children will miss a good mother.
