Lyons Herald, 7 Apr 1921

Maggie Rosekrans was born in Lyons township on March 5, 1856.  She attended the
district school for several years, and finished her education at Hillsdale
college.  Returning home she was united in marriage with Harry D. Woodworth on
November 29, 1873.  To this union was born nine children, all of whom survive
her except one son, Thomas.  Her husband died fourteen years ago.  Her entire
life was spent in and around Pewamo, except the last few years which were spent
in her home at Detroit, where she died March 27, 1921, aged 65 years and 22 days.

Funeral services were largely attended Wednesday afternoon from the M.E. church
in Pewamo, Rev. Branch of Ionia officiating.  Interment was made in East Plains
cemetery.
