Daily Sentinel - Thursday,  Dec. 15, 1910

The remains of John Wool, a former resident here, who was fatally injured by 
the train at Grand Rapids were brought here for burial. A short funeral 
service was held at the home of O.A. Lapo, a former employer of Mr. Wool, 
after which burial was made in Lakeside cemetery. He leaves a wife, three 
daughters and a host of friends to mourn their loss.
