Wooldridge, born in Orleans township and a resident there for the 84 years of his life, passed away Saturday at his home after an illness of about a year. He was born April 11, 1867 and had been a farmer all of his life. Formerly he was a member of the East Otisco Farmers club and active in the Lyceum many years ago which played an important part in the cultural life of the community. An outstanding citizen, he was respected by everyone in the vicinity in which he lived. His parents were natives of England and his oldest brother and sister were born there. He was married in 1897 to Millie Doty who passed away fifteen years ago. One of eight children, he was the last surviving and there is one daughter, Mrs. Allen Dear who lived in the home with him. One daughter, Margaret, died in 1917 at the age of ten years. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 at the Fitzjohn funeral home, Rev. H. S. Ellis officiating and burial was in the Orleans cemetery.
