Wooldridge, 79, Orleans township farmer, died at his farm home Saturday, June 7, after a lingering illness. He was born March 22, 1862, the son of Samuel and Mary Wooldridge who were pioneers from Hull, England. He lived his entire life on the farm where he was born. September 5, 1900 he was married to Miss Emma Doty. Surviving are the wife, one son, Harold, at home; two daughters, Mrs. S. T. Bigler at home and Mrs. Everett Clark, of Crescent City, California; four grandsons and one granddaughter; one brother, Edward, of Orleans township; and a sister, Mrs. Eva Tippon, of Florida. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. William Todd of Greenville Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Fitzjohn funeral home in Belding. Interment will be at Orleans cemetery. Bearers will be six nephews., Maurice, Sylvester and Alfred Chickering, Wendell Magers, and George and Earl Doty, all of Orleans and Belding vicinity.
