Dec. 20, 1973 G. (Mac) Woolsey Dies in Hospital George (Mac) Woolsey, 79, passed away Saturday afternoon at Pennock Hospital, Hastings, where he was hospitalized for two days following an extended illness. He was born July 24, 1894 at Petrolis, Ontario, son of George and Mary (Ferguson) Woodsey. He married Bertha Wall at Dighton, June 24, 1919 and lived at Cadillac for ten years and had been a Lake Odessa resident for the last 44 years. Previous to coming to Lake Odessa he was traveling auditor for Mich. Potato Growers exchange with general offices at Cadillac. Mr. Woolsey was office manager of the Lake Odessa Canning Company for 30 years, retiring in 1963 because of ill health. A member of the Central United Methodist Church, he was a life member of F&AM No. 395. Surviving are his wife, Bertha B.; a daughter Mrs. Trevor (Laurel) Lapham of Riverside, Calif.; and a grandson, Grant Moore of Oberlin, Ohio. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 1:30 at Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel, lake Odessa. Rev.
