Ionia Sentinel, 23 Oct 1970

Mrs. Arthur Wooters, 54, of route 2, Maple City, died Thursday afternoon at her 
residence following an extended illness.

Born in Ionia, February 18, 1916, she was the daughter of Lewis and Mary 
Morrison.  She attended Ionia public schools and July 9, 1931 was married to 
Arthur Edward Wooters.  She lived in Ionia several years before moving to 
Traverse City in 1949.  In 1952 she established a residence in Maple City.  
Besides her husband, Arthur, she leaves a son, Carl of Delton; five daughters, 
Mrs. Frank Timmerman of Manistee, Mrs. Raymond Cousino of Oxnard, Calif., Mrs. 
Richard Holland of Ionia, Mrs. Dennis Mikses and Mrs. William Kane of Maple 
City; 23 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers, Earl, Paul and 
John of Ionia and a sister, Mrs. Francis Cronk of Ionia.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Martensen funeral home in Traverse 
City with Dr. Howard R. Towne officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at Balcom cemetery.  
Rev. Gilbert Kohler of First Baptist church will officiate.  Arrangements were 
made by Myers-Roetman funeral home.
