Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Nov. 13, 1987

IONIA- Arthur E. Wooters, 77, formerly of Ionia, died Wednesday at Metropolitan 
Hospital, Grand Rapids.

He was born in Maple City, Mich., Dec. 2, 1909, the son of Edward and Martha 
Kellogg Wooters.

He retired from truck driving from Don April Lumber Co. in Maple City in 1970.

He was married to Lucille Morrison on July 9, 1932, in Indiana; she preceded 
him in death Oct. 23, 1970.

Surviving are five daughters, Viola Timmerman of Rothbury, Mrs. Raymond 
(Gertrude) Cousino of California. Mrs. Richard (Carol) Holland of Ionia, Mrs. 
Dennis (Mikses) of Cedar, and Martha Wooters of Ionia; one son, Garl Wooters of 
Arizona; 28 grandchildren and four great grandchildren/

Two sons, Keith and Dale preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Rich Street Chapel of Cook 
Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.

Burial will be in Balcom Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. 

A memorial has been established for the Ionia Area Hospice in care of the 
funeral home.
