Randall Worden died on her seventy-eighth birthday anniversary, New Years day, 1948 in Kankakee, Ill., after a months’ illness. Mary Jane Powers was born in Illinois, Jan. 1, 1870 and married Rev. Frederick D. Randall in 18??. Rev. Randall served Congregational churches in Michigan for eleven years until a throat ailment necessitated his retirement. He died in 1925. After his death Mrs. Randall was married to Wm. J. Worden of Ionia, who survives her. She leaves a son, Rollin B. Randall, of San Francisco, Calif.; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Three of the nieces are Mrs. O. F. Schmidt, Ionia, Mrs. William Madson, Palo, and Mrs. James Larson, of Chicago. Mrs. Larson cared for Mrs. Worden during her last illness. A son, Earl E. Randall, and a daughter, Dorothy Randall, preceded Mrs. Worden in death. Rev. A. R. Kuehn officiated at the funeral service held from the Stone Funeral Home, Monday morning. Burial was in the family lot in Tuttle cemetery. Music was solos by Mrs. O. F. Schmidt and bearers were David McCord, Harry Youngs, O. F. Schmidt and Earl Schmidt. Relatives attending the service from a distance were Rollin Randall, San Francisco, and Mrs. Larson, Chicago.
