Worden, 71, died at his home, 230 Lafayette street Monday evening at 10 o’clock after several weeks of poor health caused by a stroke. The funeral services, under Masonic auspices, will be held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. Howard J. Clifford will be in charge. The interment will be in the Oak Hill cemetery. Mr. Worden was born in Mt. Clemens but came to Ionia when a small child. He has lived here ever since. He was a painter by trade and was employed at the Pere Marquette car shops for years. His widow, of Ionia and a sister, of Greenville, survive.
