MARK WORKMAN, 60
Mark Stephen Workman, 60, of Ionia, passed away Feb.11, 2018.

He was born Aug. 25, 1957, in Lansing, the son of Murray M. and Alma R. (Crosby) 
Workman.

Mark served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era as a Ranger in Special Forces.
He loved photography and writing poetry.  Mark is survived by his sisters Melanie
(Richard) Peabody of Harbor Springs, Teresa (Karl Beach) Workman of Minnesota; nephew Scott 
Peabody of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and niece Nicole Stahl of Traverse city. He was
preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church in Ionia on
Thursday, Feb. 15, at 10 a.m., with Pastor Jonathan Bratt-Carle officiating. In lieu of flowers
those wishing many make memorial contributions to First United Methodist Church. Arrangements in
care of Lake Funeral Home of Ionia.
