Mrs. Wray had been bedridden for the past several months and had received treatment at Ionia Memorial hospital, Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids, and at University hospital in Ann Arbor. She had received about 30 blood transfusions prior to her death. She had been critically ill for the past two weeks. Mrs. Wray was born June 7, 1909 near Portland and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Howard of Portland. She attended the Christian Bend district school. In August, 1926, she was married to Harry Wray of Ionia, at Portland. Mr. Wray is a linotype operator at the Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard. Survivors include her husband and her parents; a daughter Mrs. John Ferris of Ionia; three sons, Edward, William and Kenneth; one grandson, Danny; two sisters, Mrs. Harold Raglin of Lansing, and Mrs. Frank Thompkins of Portland. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. from the Stone-Kauffman funeral home.
