Kenneth Dale Wray, 71,  of Ionia passed away August 24, 2010 at his home.  He 
was born July 17, 1939 in Ionia the son of Harry and Caroline (Adams) Wray.  He 
married Kathryn Marie Peabody October 10, 1959.  Ken owned and operated Wray 
Foods in Saranac along with his wife since 1959.  He loved his family and 
especially enjoyed his time with the grandchildren.

Ken is survived by his children Scott (Pati) Wray of Saranac, Cindy (Steve) 
Voorheis of Saranac, Randy Wray of Ionia and Val (Dennis) Leonard of Ionia; 
brothers Edward (Edna) Wray of Texas, William (Marian) Wray of Ionia; brother-
in-law Richard Reed of Lyons; nine grandchildren Blaire, Nicole and Jillie 
Wray, Carrie Voorheis, Kendall, Kollin, Kaden, Kylie and Katie Leonard.  He was 
preceded in death by his parents, his wife Kathryn and his sister Virginia 
Reed. 

Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Ionia Church of the 
Nazarene with Pastor Kirk Starkweather officiating.  Interment Easton Cemetery. 
Visitation will be at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac on Friday 2-5 p.m. and 
on Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of services.  Those 
wishing may make memorial contributions to Grand Rapids Hospice or Ionia Church 
of the Nazarene.
