Hazel (Fletcher) Wright, age 90, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2004 in 
Ionia after a five-year struggle with leukemia.

She was born August 14, 1914 in Lyons Township, the daughter of George and Edna 
(Woodmansee) Fletcher.  In 1937, she married Ernest Wright, who preceded her in 
1979.

For many years, Hazel and Ernie Wright owned a farm and slaughterhouse north of 
Ionia.  They enjoyed winters in St. Cloud, Fla.  Hazel was a proud member of 
the Lyons-Muir Church.

Hazel was preceded in death by her grandson, Ernest Wright II; brother, 
Raymond, Russell, and Neil Fletcher; and sister Donna Piggott.

Surviving are a son, Allen Wright of Muir; daughter Linda (Bart) Clark of 
Jackson; two great-grandsons, Benjamin and Mathew Wright of Grand Rapids; 
sister Wilma Dorey of Belding; and many kind and thoughtful nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Kathy Clark at 11 a.m. Monday at the 
Lyons-Muir Church, Muir.  Interment will take place at North Plains Cemetery, 
Muir.
