The explosion ignited the boy’s clothing, who ran screaming from the house, eluding his mother, and before his uncle could reach him and extinguish the flames he was terribly burned, death resulting 24 hours later. The force of the explosion wrecked the interior of the house and was the second fatal accident of this nature to happen at Portland within the past six weeks. [Transcriber's Note: There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried in Portland Cemetery.] File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/ionia/obits/w/wright15352nob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/mifiles/ File size: 1.3 Kb
