In 1900 he was united in marriage to Miss Mamie Nealon, in this city and to this union four children were born, Ione the eldest, dying in infancy; Shirley, aged 11; Dona, aged 8 and Jack, aged 5 years who together with the widow, mother, a brother, Alvin, of California, a half brother, Claude Wright, of this city, a sister, Mrs. Archie Drummond of Grand Rapids and two half-sisters, Mrs. Eva Divine, of this city and Mrs. Cora McConnell, are left to mourn their loss as best they may. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at two o’clock, from the home where he was born and reared, Rev. R. P. Norton, pastor of the M. E. church officiating and burial was in Otisco cemetery. The pall bearers were: Harl Eckert, Albert Castle, Guy Russell and Albert Wells, all life long friends of the deceased.
