Wright occurred last night at 11:30 o’clock at her home on Rich street, terminating an illness that began about three years ago and which for the past ten months has been growing steadily worse. Since last December Mrs. Wright has been confined to the bed practically all the time. Mrs. Wright was born in Handen, Ohio, Sept. 18, 1873, and was 33 years of age at the time of her death. When she was a year old the family moved to Eaton Rapids where she resided after that, and where she attended the public schools and graduated. Mrs. Wright taught school for four years in Eaton Rapids and then came to Ionia and taught for three years here. Her marriage to Mr. Wright took place August 16, 1899, and with the exception of a little over two years when they resided in Detroit they have made their home here. One child born to them died in infancy ten years ago. Mrs. Wright was an attendant at the Methodist church and previous to her departure for Detroit was a member of the Ladies’ Literary club in which she took an active interest. The funeral will be attended Friday afternoon at 2:30 from the house and conducted by Rev. M. M. Callen. The body can be viewed after one o’clock Friday by the friends. Burial will take place in Highland park cemetery. Besides the husband Mrs. Wright is survived by a half brother, W. S. Kelch, of Chicago, and her mother, Mrs. Lyda L.
