The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, February 25, 1971

Amelia R. Wright, 72, formerly of 489 King died Wednesday evening at Ionia 
Manor following an extended illness.

She was born September 21, 1898, in Chicago, Ill.  April 25, 1929, she was 
married to Archibald V Wright, Sr.  She was a past member of Women’s Literary 
club, past member of Ionia Country club and member of SS Peter and Paul church.

Surviving are a son, Archibald Wright, Jr.; two grandchildren.

Funeral mass will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul church.  
Interment will be at Balcom cemetery.  Scripture service will be Friday at 
7:30 p.m. at Myers-Roetman funeral home.
