Joseph Charles Wright, 68, of Muir passed away Dec. 8, 2011. He was born May 
28, 1943 in Belding, the son of Meryl and Rosena (Andres) Wright. He married 
Sheila Shepler Oct. 11, 1969.

He was a member of the Carson City Methodist Church. Joseph owned and operated 
the family farm. He retired from Lindell Drop Forge and also had worked at 
Ionia Public Schools. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and being at 
deer camp.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sheila Wright of Muir; 
daughters, Kryne (Jeremy) Premo of Charlotte, and Susan (Ryan) Bowne of Muir; 
one granddaughter, Addison; sisters, Elizabeth (Paul) Fernholz of Muir, Mary 
(Art) Porbusky of St. Johns, Donna (Keith) Graham of Manistee and Julia Smith 
of Lansing. 

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Carson City United Methodist 
Church with Rev. Richard Kuhn and Rev. Andy Croel officiating. The family will 
receive friends and relatives Saturday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Lake Funeral 
Home in Ionia.
