The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, July 15, 1940

Mrs. Mary Wright, wife of George H. Wright, died Saturday evening at her home, 
243 Railroad street, at the age of 71.  Funeral services will be held for her 
from the Bradley funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Interment will 
be held at Highland park cemetery.

Surviving are the husband, George, and six children, Henry Weyland, Mrs. Dora 
Tannewitz of Detroit, Mrs. Mable McClurg of Climax, Mrs. Josephine Gammage of 
Ionia, Mathew Weyland of Ionia; Frank Weyland of Bad Axe, nine grandchildren 
and one sister, Mrs. Dora Carpenter of Grand Rapids.  A former husband, 
Matthew Weyland, died in 1910.
