The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, July 29, 2009

Robert W. Wright, aged 66, of Saranac, passed away July 28, 2009. He was born 
December 23, 1942 in Salisbury, Maryland, the son of George W. and Florence 
(Esham) Wright.

He married Charlene Stowell February 28, 1995. She preceded him in death July 
6, 2000.

Robert retired from General Motors. He was a avid golfer and a member of 
Morrison Lake Golf Club.

He is survived by his mother Florence Wright of Ionia; his children Terry 
Kerbyson of Ionia, Bobby Wright of Ionia, Wendy Wright of Grand Rapids, and 
Julie and Brett Berger of Ionia; grandchildren Joshua, Jason, Timmy, Brittany, 
Cody, Brianna, and Alex; great grandchildren Zakary and Kelsie and brother 
Rick and Peggy Wright of Saginaw.  He was preceded in death by his father 
George February 25, 2002, one son Jeff and daughter in law Kathy Wright.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian 
Church with Pastor Bob Nixon officiating. Interment Easton Cemetery. The 
family will receive friends and relatives Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 at Lake Funeral 
Home in Ionia. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to The Leukemia 
Lymphoma Society.
