CLARKSVILLE- J. Nelson Wright, 90, of Clarksville died Saturday at Grand Rapids 
Osteopathic hospital following an extended illness.

He was born in Odessa township, October 17, 1879 the son of James and Ambia 
Williams Wright. January 25, 1900, he was married to Glendora Hunter. They 
lived on a farm in Keene Township until 1944 when they moved to a farm near 
Clarksville. He retired several years later moving to the village of 
Clarksville three years ago. He was a member of Clarksville Bible Church.

Besides his wife he leaves a son, Lester of Ypsilanti; two daughters, Mrs. 
Richard Heaven of Ypsilanti, Mrs. Eleanor Beukema of Clarksville; nine 
grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; two 
sisters, Mrs. O.H. Beegan of Detroit and Mrs. John Christmas of Kersey, Colo. 

Mr. Wright is at Pickens funeral chapel in Clarksville and services will be 
Tuesday at 1:30 pm at Clarksville Bible church. Rev. Paul Boger of Grandville 
and Rev. Ellon Mills of Clarksville will officiate and interment will be at 
Clarksville cemetery.
