Iris E. Wright, 91, of Sebring, Fla., formerly of Belding, passed away Saturday
morning, Oct. 12, 2003, at the Palms in Sebring.  She was born Aug. 17, 1911, in
Butler, Ind., the daughter of George and Sylvia Staley Moore.  

Iris was married on Nov. 27, 1928, in Butler, to John W. Wright.  He preceded
her in death in 1996.  She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Vae
Moughler and Crystal Thomas; one brother, Gerald Moore; one son-in-law, Voyle
Teets; and a granddaughter, Brenda Chapman.

She is survived by her children, Janet Teets of Sebring, Charles and Shirley
Wright, John and Nancy Wright, all of Belding, James and Connie Wright of
Sebring, William and Teresa Wright of Stanton; 13 grandchildren; 33
great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and
cousins.

Funeral services for Iris are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral
Home, Belding, with Pastor Mark Shaw officiating.  Interment is in Rest Haven
Memory Gardens, Belding.  The family will greet relatives and friends from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Following the committal service at
the cemetery, a luncheon will be served at the Belding VFW Post on Bridge
Street.  Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association.
