Charlene M. Wright, 51, of Saranac, formerly of Ionia, passed away on July 6, 
2000, in Grand Rapids.  She was born on August 2, 1948 in Ionia, the daughter 
of Samuel and Helen (Gladding) Stowell.  She married Robert Wright on February 
28, 1995, in Jamaica.  She is survived by her parents, Samuel and Helen Stowell 
of Palo.

She is survived by her parents, Samuel and Helen of Palo; husband, Robert of 
Saranac; son, Tim (Tracy) Ardis of Belding; father and mother-in-law, George 
and Florence Wright of Ionia; stepsons, Jeff Wright of Tennessee and Bob 
(Kathy) Wright of Ionia; stepdaughters, Teri Kerbyson of Ionia, Julie (Brett) 
Berger of Ionia, and Wendy Wright of Grand Rapids; brothers, Douglas (Doris) 
Stowell of Palo and Lanny (Carolyn) Stowell of Muir; sisters, Sharon (Doug) 
Nelson of Palo, Colleen (Ron) Cobb of Lake Odessa and Marlene (George) Hume of 
Palo; and 12 grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one son, Donald 
Ardis, one brother and one sister.

Funeral services for Wright will be held at 11 am. Monday at Lake Funeral Home 
in Ionia.  Interment Easton Cemetery.  Visitation will be 7 p.m. until 8:30 
p.m. today and 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the 
funeral home.  Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to American 
Cancer Society.
