Funeral services for Herbert M. Wright, age 86, were held at the Methodist 
church Saturday afternoon.  Mr. Wright was born in Ronald township, Ionia 
county, November 30, 1860, and died December 25, 1946, at his farm home near 
here.  He was married to Miss Rose J. Jones in 1888.  He was a member of the 
Palo Methodist church and the I.O.O.F.  

Surviving are his wife, four sons, Clare of Bushnell township, Lee at home, 
Fred of Grand Rapids and Earl of Florida; two brothers, Roy of Hubbardston and 
Frank of Fenwick.  

Rev. Parke Newcombe officiated and interment was in the Palo cemetery.
