Wright, who died in Ionia August 20, 1914, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. Forrester, of Port Huron, Saturday night. The funeral party with the body will arrive in Ionia Tuesday on the 11:20 train and will go immediately to the Highland Park cemetery, where the committal services will be held. Rev. Dr. John Fredinneck, who served as Mrs. Wright’s pastor while a resident of Port Huron, but now in charge of the Trinity Methodist Episcopal church, Grand Rapids, will conduct the services. The Order of Eastern Star of which Mrs. Wright was the first worthy matron, in Ionia, will act as an escort at the train and at the cemetery. Mrs. Wright was 87 years of age. Mrs. Forrester, with whom she has lived since the death of Mr. Wright, is the only child. Mrs. Wright has long ranked among the pioneers of this vicinity and she and her husband molded much of the early history of the town. Mr. Wright was a contractor and many buildings here stand as a monument to him.
