Belding Banner, 9 Sep 1897

Will Wright, residing two miles north of Muir, committed suicide Sunday
afternoon, by hanging.  Opposition of his parents to his keeping company with
Miss Olive West, an estimable Muir lady, was the cause.  Wright was well
educated, having taught school several terms and was of excellent habits.
