Sentinel-Std.- Tuesday, May 8, 1984

MUIR- Charles Meryl Wright, 71, of Route 1 Hayes Road, Muir, died Monday at 
Ionia County Memorial Hospital.

He was born in North Plains Township on Feb. 11, 1913, the son of Charles 
and Zeta Wright. He attended rural schools, and was a lifelong resident of 
North Plains Township.

He married Rosena Endres in May of 1942. He was a retired maintenance 
employee at General Tire, and farmed the family farm for many years. 

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston.

His is survived by his wife, one son, Joseph of Muir; four daughters, Mrs. 
Betty Fernholtz of Muir, Mrs. Mary Porubski of St. Johns, Mrs. Donna Graham 
of Manistee, Mrs. Julie Smith of Lansing; three sisters, Mrs. Etta Mandell 
of Mesa, Ariz. Mrs. Marion Fletcher of Muir and Mrs. Geraldine Barker of 
Lake Odessa; and 16 grandchildren. 

One infant son and a sister preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from St. John the Baptist 
Catholic Church in Hubbardston, Rev. Eugene Fox officiating. Burial will be 
in the church cemetery.

A parish scripture prayer service will beheld Tuesday at 8 p.m. from Hull 
Memorial Chapel in Muir.
