CAR CRASH KILLS CHILD

Little Miss Sharon Wright, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Styger here, was 
injured Monday night in an automobile accident north of Vermontville. The child 
was riding with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wright of Vermontville 
when their car was in collision with another at Delwood Corners. Mr. and Mrs. 
Wright were badly injured also, and all three were taken by ambulance to the 
Hastings hospital.

Later - Word was received this morning that Sharon who would have been seven 
this month, died Wednesday evening in Pennock hospital from an extensive skull 
fracture. She was cared for by her aunt, Miss Joyce Nelson, R.N. of Lansing. Mr. 
and Mrs. Wright remain in a very critical condition.

Sharon is also survived by her father, who lives in the state of Washington. 
Funeral arrangements have not been completed pending word from the child's 
father.
