                               LESTER C.WRIGHT

SARANAC-Lester C.Wright 79, of 4091 Jackson Road, died Saturday night at 
Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was born in Odessa Township Jan.7 1901, to the parents of Nelson and Glendora 
Hunter Wright.

He lived in Ypsilanti area for 46 years. He attended Central Michigan 
University.

Mr.Wright was a member of the Congregators Club of the Saranac Community Church. 
He was a member of the Knights of Pythias. He retired from the Ford Motor Co. in 
1966.

He married Perthena Walling in 1925 in Mount Pleasant. 

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Richard (Jo) Wright of Lansing; to 
daughters, Mrs.George Elaine Reed of Ohio and Mrs.Arthur (Phyllis) 
Christopherson of Midland; one sister, Mrs.Richard (Eleanor) Heaven of 
Clarksville; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at theLake Funeral Home in Saranac with 
the Rev. Edin Mendenhall officiating.

Burial will be in Saranac Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives onMonday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 
p.m.

Anyone wishing to make contributions may do so to the Saranac Community Church.
