           WRIGHT

Wilma Ione Wright, age 88 of Saranac, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024.She 
was born on December 17, 1935, the daughter of Alzie and Ruth (Clark) Priest in 
Ionia,MI.On November 5, 1955, she married the love of her life, Harry Wright, 
and together they were blessed with four children.

Wilma enjoyed gardening and flowers. She loved her dog,Oscar, and spending time 
with her grandchildren.She was a bus driver for Saranac School for 30 years.

Wilma is survived by her children, Charles Wright of Indiana, Kemberley (Steve) 
Kimble of Saranac, Sherri Norton of Newaygo, and Roxanne Johnson (Doug Swider) 
of Caledonia; sister,Norma Jane Triggs of Charlotte; brother-in-law, Mekwin 
Wright, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband,Harry; son-in-law, Bernard Norton Jr.; 
siblings,Gladys, Edna, Opal, Ferne, Faye, Walter, and Melvin and her grandson, 
Adam Jeffrey Best.

A Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday,June 17, at Clarksville Bible 
Church with Pastor Tim Bateman officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, 
from 4-7 PM at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Memorial Donations may be made to 
the Ionia Commission on Aging or Clarksville Bible Church.Online Condolences can
