Was An Ionia Resident For Many Years.

Mrs. A. S. Wright died at her home at 223 Rich street this morning at 9:30.  
She had been nearly helpless for some time, and on Wednesday had a stroke of 
apoplexy, from which she did not rally.  Mrs. Wright’s maiden name was Lutitia 
Grosvenor, and she was the youngest one of a very large family, the only 
surviving member of which is Mrs. L. D. Smith, mother of K. R. Smith, sr., and 
of Mrs. Clara Wood.  Mrs. Wright was born in 1841, and married Allen S. Wright 
in 1868.  Mr. Wright died about ten years ago, since when Mrs. Wright has lived 
in the home at the corner of Rich and Lafayette streets alone.  Grosvenor 
Wright, the only child, who lives in Detroit, survives his mother.  Mrs. Wright 
was a woman of great energy and was one of those efficient home makers best 
appreciated by her own family and friends, not caring for the popularity of the 
community at large.  The notice of the funeral will be made later.
