The Lake Odessa Wave, Wednesday, February 24, 1926
Orvin J. Wright died on Feb. 10th after a two days illness at his residence, 
1441 Longfellow Avenue, Detroit, Michigan.  The funeral was held at the 
residence under the auspices of Damascus commandery, Knights Templar.

Mr. Wright, one of the best known insurance men in Detroit, was district 
manager of the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company.  Among the orders 
and clubs to which he belonged were Corinthian lodge No. 241, F.&A.M. King  
Cyrus Chapter, Damascus commandery, Moslem temple, Pine Lake Country Club, 
Ingleside Club and the Detroit Board of Commerce.  Besides keeping up his 
interest in club and lodge matters, he also was a deacon in the North Woodward 
Congregational church.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nellie M., two daughters, Mrs. Louis W. Daniels, 
and Mrs. Leona M. Benton, also a brother, Charles S. Wright and a sister Mrs. 
W. J. Woolston, both of Grand Rapids, Michgian.

Mr. Wright was sixty-three years of age and was known by many around here.
