Thomas H. Wright, 72, of Belding passed away Friday morning July 3, 2015, at
Metron of Belding.   Tom was born on Jan. 12, 1943, in Belding, the son of
Howard L. and LaVerne (Bellanger) Wright.  He graduated from Belding High School
with the Class of 1961.

For many years Tom had worked as a commercial artist in the Belding area.  He
had a life long love of sports, serving in earlier years as the golf and
basketball coach at Belding High School and the basketball coach at St. Joseph
Elementary School and the Belding Middle School.  Tom also spent many days at
Candlestone and Ridgeview Golf Clubs playing and coordinating Men’s and Junior
leagues.  He was a member of the Mid State Master Bowlers Association and was a
past member of the Belding Athletic Boosters and had helped out at many high
school sporting events.

He had a strong love of family and will be greatly missed.  He was married on
Nov. 9, 1974 in Belding to Ilene Bobcik.

Tom is loved and survived by his wife Ilene and their children; Christopher and
Kathleen Wright of Belding, Kristee Wright of Bloomfield Hills, two
grandchildren; Mallory, Ellyson and a brother David Wright of Belding.  He was
preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Johnson-Feuerstein
Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Mike Simmons officiating.  Committal prayers
will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Belding.  Visitation will be Tuesday from
2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.  Memorials may be
given to the Alzheimer’s Association
