Fayette Wyckoff, one of the most prominent members of the Michigan G.A.R., died 
at Lansing last week at the age of 72 years. The end came while he was 
consulting a physician for treatment. Mr. Wyckoff had been in Ionia a number of 
times, principally in connection with social affairs of the local G.A.R. For a 
number of years he had held a position as clerk in the office of the secretary 
of state.
