Wyman, former Portland resident, passed away at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Herolz, at Long Beach, California, on Wednesday, June 19. Had she lived until September, she would have been 93 yeas old. She had continued active mentally until the time of her death and had been well physically until she suffered a broken hip about two years ago and had been almost a total invalid since. Her death was quite unexpected as she had been much more alert and optimistic in regard to her condition the past few days. Funeral services were held at Long Beach on Monday and the family will leave for Michigan with the body on July 2. They will arrive at the Grand Trunk station, Lansing at 3:10 p.m. on Friday, July 5 where they will be met by the Neller Funeral car and go directly to Danby cemetery where a graveside prayer service will be conducted by Rev. W. W. Slee of Ithaca. Rev. Slee was the Methodist pastor here at one time and a personal friend of the Herolz family. Burial will be made on the family lot where Mr. Wyman was buried a number of years ago.
