Theo L. Yager, 88, of Lake Odessa, died Friday, March 27, 1998 at Cumberland 
Manor, Lowell.  He was born October 15, 1909 in Sebewa Township, the son of Ed 
and Emma (Schell) Yeager.  He married Elaine Linhart on November 16, 1929 and 
she preceded him in death on August 6, 1994.  He was raised in Sebewa Township 
where he farmed until his retirement in the spring of 1973.

Surviving are his three sons, Duane (Ellen) Yager, of Lake Odessa, Cameron 
(Kay) Yager of Lake Odessa, and Wendell (Bonnie) Yager of Ionia; ten 
grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; a sister, 
Bernie Trask of Lake Odessa; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded 
in death by two sisters, Beatrice Daniels and Magarette Lovell.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 30, 1998 at the Koops 
Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa with Rev. Darren Tharp and Rev. Dick Cross 
officiating, with interment in Lakeside Cemetery, in Lake Odessa.  Visitation 
is scheduled for Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the 
funeral home.  Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse Services of Sebewa 
Baptist Church.
