She was the wife of G. Lee Yates, assistant vice president of the State Savings bank of Ionia. The Rev. George L. Rentschler, minister of he First Presbyterian church, officiated at the services. In charge of the flowers were Mrs. P. C. Robertson, Miss Ella Ross, Mrs. Bernice Lampkin and Mrs. Walter Garrett. Bearers were Dr. J. J. McCann, Fred M. Kidd, Jr., Murl Hiler, Fred B. Post, Joseph Hauck, Lloyd T. Smith, Flint C. Watt and Wallace Jackson. Interment was in the Yates lot in Highland Park cemetery. Attending the services in a group were the officers, directors and employees of the State Savings banks of Ionia, Belding and Saranac, as well as representatives of the Daughters of the American Revolution of which Mrs. Yates was a charter member. Attending the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. Lee VanAllen Yates of Pittsburg, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. Benton Yates and son, David, of Battle Creek, Dr. and Mrs. Wing Yates and Miss Lu Coney of Waukegan, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Gar Yates of Mundelein, Ill., Robert Yates of Deerfield, Ill., Dan Morse of Elmhurst, Ill., Judge Lucius Babcock of El Reno, Okla., Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Miles of Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Edsel of Greenville, Harold Bradley of Evanston, Ill., Mrs. V. H. Eman and Mrs. E. B. Fineley of Grand Rapids.
