Dee Junior Yaw, 87 of Saranac, passed away May 9, 2013 in Saranac. He was born 
Oct. 21, 1925 in Sheridan, the son of Dee and Mildred (Hull) Yaw.

Dee married Joyce Stiles in Sheridan on Jun 22, 1946. He retired from General 
Motors in 1990.

Dee is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Joyce Yaw of Saranac; children, 
Michael (Jill) Yaw of Saranac, Steven (Jan) Yaw of Saranac, Karen (Don) Badge 
of Sheridan, Kimball (Wanda) Yaw of Saranac, Pat (Ron) Gordon of Sheridan, 
Debra (Allan) Blundy of Saranac and Anita (Tim) Hotchkiss of Saranac; sister-in-
law, Norma Yaw of Sheridan; 24 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, two brothers, one sister, 
and one granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 17 at Galilee Baptist 
Church with Rev. Jim VanDewarker and Rev. Andy Mooren officiating. Visitation 
will be held one hour prior to service.

Memorial contributions may be made in Dee's name to the Saranac Food Bank or
