Russell E. Yeomans, age 64, of Ionia, passed away Wed., Dec. 8, 2004, in Grand 
Rapids.

He was born Oct. 9, 1940, in Ionia, the son of Edwin and Elizabeth (McKendry) 
Yeomans.  He would go on to marry Barbara Brand on Dec. 17, 1960, in Ionia.

He was a partner with his brother Sanford in the Yeomans Egg Farm for 25 years 
before retiring in 1987.  He was currently employed by Clothing care since 1985 
where he drove delivery truck for them.  he enjoyed building and flying model 
airplanes.

Russell is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Barbara of Ionia; his mother 
Elizabeth Yeomans of Ionia; daughter Beth (Russ) Thomas of Ionia; brother 
Sanford and Janet Yeomans of Ionia; grandchildren, Justin, Nick and Emma.

Funeral services for Russ are 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia, with the Rev. Marty Culver officiating.  Interment in Easton Cemetery.  
Visitation is Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the 
funeral home.  Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to the American 
Cancer society.
