She was the daughter of Willard and Clara Gott Yeomans and had spent her entire life at the family home on State road in Orleans township. She was a member of First Baptist church and a charter member of DAR. She was also a member of State Road club, CCW class of the Baptist church, Gleaners and Banner Grange. Surviving are a brother, Maurice Yeomans, and a niece, Mrs. Helen Braman of Ionia. Funeral service will be at Boynton funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. John W. Tennyson officiating and burial in the family lot at Highland Park cemetery. Subsequent Publication: Wednesday, October 10, 1962 Funeral service for Margery Yeomans, 78, who died early Saturday afternoon at Ionia County Memorial hospital, was conducted at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. John W. Tennyson of First Baptist church officiated and interment was at Highland park cemetery. Bearers were Lee Harrington, Ovett Harrington, Edwin Yeomans, Gerald Yeomans, Walter Yeomans and Ernest Young. Members of Stevens Thomson Mason chapter Daughters of the American Revolution and CCW class attended in groups. Out of town relatives attending were Mrs. Walter Hunt of Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Miles Hansen and Mr. and Mrs. James Hansen of Edmore; Mr. and Mrs. Elzie Douglas of Vestaburg, Henry Higley, Harold Higley, and Mrs. Virginia Hauck of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Gus Gott and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bennett of Orleans, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Christensen of Stanton and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Higley of Lyons.
