Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. Oct. 16, 1958

NORA YERTY DIED FRIDAY
Mrs. Nora Schneider Yerty 81, former Lake Odessa and Belding resident passed away 
Friday night at Homer, Illinois, after a lingering illness. She was born in Ionia
County and spent her early life in this area. Her husband, Oscar passed away in 1944. 
While residing here she and her husband were both employed by the E. C. Tew clothing 
Company leaving here about 50 years ago.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs.Rosa Parney of Home, Illinois, and a brother, Benjamin
R. Schneider of Woodland.

Mrs. Yerty arrived Tuesday at the Pickens Funeral Home where funeral services were
held Wednesday at 2;00 p.m. with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
