Ionia Sentinel Standard, 23 Jun 2005

Madeleine Mae York, aged 75, of Ionia, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2005 in 
Lowell.  She was born October 20, 1929 in Owosso the daughter of Frederick and 
Margaret (Gustafson) York.  She graduated in 1947 from Ionia High School.  She 
was very active at the Ionia Free Fair in the sewing department.  She was a 
member of the Women’s Literary Club.  She worked for many years with Dr. 
Kopchick in Muir.

She is survived by her nephew Robert Cloyd Jr. of Florida, Niece Ann Margaret 
Cloyd of New York City.  Uncle Albert Gustafson of Grand Ledge.

Graveside services will be held Saturday 11 a.m. at the Easton Cemetery with 
Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Anyone wishing may make memorial 
contributions to the Sewing Department of the Ionia Free Fair.  Arrangements by 
Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
