Funeral services for Miss Elvie York were held at the home of her sister, Mrs. 
Elmer McLean, in Danby township, Wednesday afternoon at 2:00.  Burial was in 
Danby cemetery.  

Miss York’s death occurred late Monday afternoon.  She had been a sufferer 
from rheumatism for years, but had been around the house until a few days 
before her death.  She was a daughter of the late Chas. York and was born in 
Genoa, Livingston county, Mich., 47 years ago last March.  Since the death of 
her father she had made her home with her sister.  She is also survived by a 
brother, Ben York, of Danby.
