Ionia Sentinel Standard-Tues. Sept. 2, 1941

BERT YODER
Ionians have received word of the death August 15 in California of Bert York, a
resident here many years ago. He was graduated from the Ionia high school and went to the
University of Michigan leaving the state for the west about 40 years ago. He was the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Zack York, who build the house on East Washington street, now owned by Mrs. Fred A.
Chapman. Mr. York was married and leaves three children, two sons and a daughter.
