Mr. York had been head of the hospital division of the prison in Michigan City for the past several years. Formerly he had been in business at Munising and Indian River, Mich. His boyhood days were spent in Lake Odessa and the body was brought there for burial Wednesday. Funeral services were from the Congregational church. Burial was in Lakeside cemetery. He is survived by his wife, a son, George York, Pittsburg, and a brother, Ernest York, Grand Rapids. He was a member of the Knights Templars at Michigan City and of the Oddfellows at Lake Odessa. The Templars conducted the funeral service.
