Daily Sentinel-Std. - Friday, Dec. 2, 1960

Leslie C. Yost, 63, an accountant of Federal-Mogul in Greenville died 
Wednesday at his home at Cooks Corners near Belding.

He had lived most of his life in Belding and had been with Federal-Mogul for 
the past 20 years. He was active in many civic organizations, the Belding 
Lodge, F&AM No. 355, past president of Greenville  Memorial hospital, past 
president of the Greenville Country club, president of the Belding Barber 
Shop Quartet and a former Belding board of education member.

He was married June 30, 1918 to Lydia G. Gantz in Ionia.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter Mrs. Carl Stone of Fruitport; a son, 
William Lee of Belding, a sister and a half-brother and seven grandchildren 
and one great grandchild.

Funeral service will be at the First Congregational church in Belding 
Congregational church in Belding Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in River 
Ridge cemetery.
