The cause of her death was probably the wasting way of life, no apparent disease. She was taken ill at her son’s on Thursday, and from that hour sank quietly to rest. Her maiden name was Margaret Myndress. She was born Nov. 29, 1812, In Guilderland, Albany, Co., N.Y. Was married in 1833 to Henry Young, they living happily together until 1865 when Mr. Young died. Her home until 1870 was in Albany and Saratoga Co., when she came to Mich. Mrs. Young was the mother of eight children, six of whom survive her. Mrs. Harry and James H Young of Greenfield, Saratoga, N.Y., John A. Young and Mrs. Buckfink of Ionia Township, also Mrs. Popple and Anna Young of Ionia city. She made a profession of religion at the age of 40, uniting with the Presbyterian church of Greenfield, N. Y. Her funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon, at 2 o’clock, at the Union church on North Plains.
