Ionia Daily Standard, 29 Dec 1898

George C. Young died on Wednesday evening at 5:30, at the parental home, 335 West 
Washington street.  His illness was of but a few weeks’ duration.  he was 
approaching the 39th year of his age, and leaves a wife but no children.  The 
funeral will be from St. John’s Episcopal church on Sunday at 2 p.m.  Friends may 
view the remains at the residence on Sunday morning between the hours 10 and 12.
